HDMI over IP finaly !!

This is realy cool and what I have been waiting for - I think. Basicaly it is a transmitter-recevier solution for HD over IP. From the video it looks like it actualy does multicast. The only thing that I need to figure out is it ends up being pretty expensive to setup at the start, 250 per receiver and 300 per x-miter -it may be cheaper to just get another cable box.

The bigest advantage I currently see would be the need to only have a single media PC for any point in the house, instead of some additional local solution. I would still have the multi channel issue - but we are only 2 in the house.

Mmmm... Jalapeno relish

Quebec's fete national came and went but I found a delicious little condiment for burgers - a Jalpeno relish ( http://www.goourmetchip.com). Sweet with a kick - but not too much.

twittervision !!

As a sorta-fan of twitter - I find it cool - I find this mashup even more so. TwitterVision takes the twitter stream, and maps it to Google maps !! So for any tweets that are geo-coded you see where they com from. I find it makes the random stream come to life!!

For those who don't know, twitter is like the facebook status.
