I found an interesting article on managing the stuff that accumulates over a lifetime. The article, entitled Jackie Starr's A Senior: "But That Car Belonged to my Dad!", makes the point to preserve the memory and to throw away the item. We are currently going through this - purging stuff as we prepare the room for our new kid. Alot of what I have are "I will need this for a project I was planning to do" - but that was years ago, or the "Someone will surely use this stuff" - like my Apple newton that was so cool when I first got it in 1994 !!
A life time of stuff - now that we have so much stuff!!

Quote from Dan Pink
I was reading an interesting interview with Dan Pink, he was speach writer for Al Gore. The following closing quote hit me, so I though I would note it:
I believe in the power of words. But ultimately speeches are about actions. The only reason to give a speech is to change the world. That’s a high bar. But that’s what we should aspire to when audiences give us this privilege.
