I just bought a new pair of boots, and tried to lace them up in a way I recall from Air cadets - so all the laces are straigh across without laces showing underneath. I discovered that it only seemed to work for even number of eyelets - 4,6,8. So why not google it !! I can't be the only one. Wow was I in for a surprise when I bumped into Ian's Shoelace Site - I had never dreamed so many ways of tying laces.
The first thought is always - wow ... what a waste of time ... Then again, I'm blogging about it. Some of these methods are quite usefull - the bushwalker method looks good, with it's cycling variant. I seem to always use the straight/fashion method. I had already seen the ridding boot lacing before.
I guess the waste of time would be trying to figure this out by yourself!!

Wow, who knew that there were so many ways to tie laces... now I hope I'm not late for work since I just spent way too much time looking through that site. I guess if I use Ian's knot then I can save some time ;o)
