Well, I have been snooping around again, trying to move forward in setting updating my computer setup. I have since found that my Lexmark E-210 printer has a USB port - yes I could have looked behind, but, like most other things - it's wedged in there. It was easier to just look it up on the net.
So now the plan is to install CUPS or LPR on a UnSlung NSLU2 system. That way I can probably also plug (and network) my Canon CP-500 using a USB hub. That would be great.
